Competition Obedience -- the Positive Way: Get ready for the competition obedience ring with this positive reinforcement-based polishing class. Learn proper ring procedure and etiquette as you and your dog develop the teamwork and trust necessary for a successful obedience career. Heeling with attention (both on and off leash), footwork, straight fronts and finishes, stand for exams and stays will be the focus fo this class. Open obedience exercises such as drop on recall, jumping and retrieving will also be included for those students ready for the Open ring. Familiarity with clicker training is highly recommended, but not required. Once students have completed an initial 8-week course, they may continue on a drop-in basis. No choke or prong collars are permitted -- buckle or martingale collars only!

Competition Obedience Drop In: Drop-ins for all levels (novice, open, utility) are offered every Monday morning from 9:00 am until noon for those interested in working privately under ring conditions. Call us at 630-968-7387 or email us for a reservation. Please note that reservations may be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance, and no-shows must pay.
Rental Rates: $10 per 1//2 hour for a single person: $5 per 1/2 hour
per person for two or more people.
