Rally Obedience: These positive reinforcement based classes are designed for the intermediate or advanced handler who is interested in learning the skills necessary to compete in either APDT or AKC Rally Obedience trials. Rally Obedience exercises differ significantly from traditional formal obedience exercises. Rally is really a combination of traditional obedience and agility, and dogs and handlers LOVE it. Rally Obedience emphasizes fun and excitement for the dog / handler team while providing a more natural and interactive approach to obedience. This interactive approach allow the handler to give directions and encouragement during the performance, which improves the dog's attitude and builds a sense of teamwork. Learn the skills that are required required for Rally competition and have loads of fun with your dog in the process!

Rally Obedience Novice is intended for dog/handler teams who have not previously taken a Rally course or who are still working on-lead. Both AKC Novice and APDT Level 1 signs will be covered. Students have the opportunity to run a complete Novice/Level 1 course each week.

Rally Obedience Advanced is intended for more advanced handlers who are competent with all Novice/Level 1 signs. Your dog must be able to work RELIABLY off-lead. Both AKC Advanced/Excellent and APDT Level 2 signs will be covered. Students have the opportunity to run a complete Advanced/ Excellent/Level 2 course each week.

Drop-In Policy: Our Rally classes are occasionally available on a drop-in basis for students with at least two previous PPDT Rally-O classes for $15. HOWEVER, THE BEST WAY TO GUARANTEE A SPOT IS TO REGISTER FOR A CLASS. Please call in advance (630-968-7387) and leave a message that you plan to drop in so that we can better accommodate you. DROP-INS SHOULD CHECK THIS WEBSITE IN THE EXTREMELY RARE EVENT THAT RALLY CLASSES ARE CANCELLED (WHEN ALL OF OUR TRAINERS ARE OUT OF TOWN): ANY CANCELLATION WILL BE POSTED WELL IN ADVANCE AT THE TOP OF THE HOME PAGE OF THIS WEBSITE.
